Kolkata Police in association with AMRI Hospitals has today launched a drive-by vaccination campaign in the city. This will enable you to take a shot of the Covid-19 vaccine Covishield sitting in your car at one of our three vaccination centres, without having to visit a hospital or health centre. The initiative was inaugurated today by honourable Commissioner of Police Shri Soumen Mitra.
Starting tomorrow, the three centers at Police Athletic Club (which began operations today itself), Ajoynagar Service Road, and Tala Park Traffic Training School will be open to all vaccine recipients above 18, from 10.00 am-6.00 pm. All those wishing to avail the service must be registered on COWIN and carry necessary identification.
Kindly note that only those in four-wheel vehicles will be eligible for the vaccine, and you will have to wait in your vehicle for the mandatory 30 minutes once you have taken the shot. The cost per head for a single dose of the vaccine will be Rs 850.
