A Twitter post has been doing round since 31st July 2020, claiming death of a young doctor from Covid-19 with an emotional post. The post made from the account @Aisha_must_sayz has gone viral with emotional messages from across the world, making the post and “Dr Aisha” viral and trending on Twitter.
The message posted using the said account on July 31, 2020, at 5.12 am: “Haya friends not coping with Covid-19. Going to be hooked up to the ventilator sometime today. Remember me, my smile to you. Thank U 4 Ur friendship. Will miss Ull. Be safe take this deadly virus seriously. Luv u guys. Bye“
We at News Sense received several enquiries to find out the truth behind the emotional twitter post, which has been consequently shared on WhatsApp too. We found the account @Aisha_must_sayz suspicious for many reasons.
First the Google reverse image search led us to a picture, which was first posted in October 2017. Secondly, in the picture she is shown without mask and other emergency medical equipments in the hospital.
Thirdly, a closer look of her photo and her pillow indicates a printed logo of Life Hospital, which is located in Kamareddy, Telangana, while the account claims Dr Aisha is located in South Africa.
All these discrepancies led to a series of tweets, questioning the authenticity of the emotional post and the twitter account, which ultimately led to the deletion of the account, which clearly proves that it was a fake account done with intention to generate fake curiosity.
Claim: Emotional Last Post of a Young Doctor, who died of COVID19
Conclusion: The Twitter Account and the Post are Fake
