People are struggling hard to adjust with the new normal but at the same time the number of COVID19 positive cases is increasing day by day. People without discrimination needs proper support and treatment. In such a situation, Dhakuria Tarun Mahal known for its social initiatives has once again come forward to be with the economically backward people who have been tested positive, by supplying them with free oxygen cylinders.
The initiative commenced on 17th September 2020 in the presence of Dr Faud Halim, Actor Badshah Mitra, Footballer Mehtab Hussain, Dr Gour Goswami, Prof Mridul Bose and the coordinator of 92 ward of Kolkata Municipal Corporation, Smt Madhuchanda Dey. The oxygen is being supplied by Sri Prosenjit Chatterjee, who was also present during the programme.
