In an effort to honor and support Veterans, Veer Naris, and Veer Matas residing in the East and West Kameng districts of Arunachal Pradesh, an Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Rally was organized on November 24, 2024, at Buddha Stadium, Bomdila.
The rally aimed to provide post-retirement benefits information and address grievances through coordinated efforts with representatives from various Records Offices, State Government agencies, and Bank officials. Additionally, a free medical and eye check-up camp was set up during the event to ensure necessary healthcare services for those in need.
Maj Gen KS Grewal, Sena Medal, General Officer Commanding 5 Mountain Division, expressed profound gratitude during his interaction with the Veterans, Veer Matas, and Veer Naris.
He commended their sacrifices and service to the nation, urging them to continue contributing to society with unwavering vigor and commitment.
The event served as an interactive platform to address issues related to pensions, healthcare, re-employment, and grievance redressal, fostering a supportive environment for the ex-servicemen community.
