This year during the Republic Day Parade at Rajpath, BSF’s Seema Bhawani Motor Cycle Team ‘Seema Bhawani’ will be seen again participating and performing various events on motor cycle.
Initially the team was named as “Nirbhaya” which was later renamed as “Seema Bhawani”. The team is now well known all around the country due to their magnificent and daring performance on the occasion of Republic Day Parade 2018 at Rajpath, New Delhi which was praised by one and all and also by the then Chief Guest of Republic Day Parade Mr Barack Obama, President of the United States of America.
In the year 2016, BSF was assigned with the responsibility to raise all women motorcycle daredevil team of the force. The challenge was accepted and willing and capable Mahila Prahari of the force were called for practice and selection for the mahila motorcycle team. On 20th Oct’2016 the mahila motorcycle team was raised.
The team has achieved lime light in a very short span of time and is expected to bring more such laurels to the force.
