Wedding on Google Meet, Feast to reach Guests via Zomato, Couple sets example for Covid Safety

After years of courtship when Sandipan and Aditi decided to marry, Covid struck, followed by lockdowns after lockdowns, taking a toll on the life and livelihood of the people, across the world. Now, after nearly two years when things seemed to be settling down, third wave roused its hood.

However, this time, when businessman Sandipan Sarkar and Aditi Das, who works with a private firm, decided to marry, they started taking all necessary measures to protect themselves and everyone from the virus. They invited more than 450 guests for their marriage but because of the government guidelines they had to cut short and invite only 50 guests each from Aditi’s and Sandipan’s family for physical presence on their wedding day.

Sandipan and Aditi speaking to News Sense said, “other invited guests can join our wedding ceremony online via Google Meet. Wedding is all about feast, so Sandipan, who  initiated the online idea, decided to roped in with food delivery aggregator Zomato, who have agreed to deliver food to each and every guest on our list.”

Singer and Celebrity Surajit, who is also a family friend of Sandipan, while speaking to News Sense said “I wish both the couple a very happy married life, both of them are young and intelligent. They are setting a good and eye opening trend, now many couple are going to follow this trend.

Though the decision to go online is taken out of the situation, but the example Aditi and Sandipan has set for everyone really needs accolade. Let us wish Sandipan and Aditi online who are set to marry each other on 24rth January 2022.
