Celebration of 38th National Youth Day in Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture following COVID Protocols

Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Golpark in tune with Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrated 160th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on 12th January 2022 as 38th National Youth Day.

Program started at 8.00am with the garlanding ceremony of Swami Vivekananda’s Statue at Golpark by Revered Swami Suparnanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Golpark and others followed by the garlanding ceremony of Swami Vivekananda’s Statue inside Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture Campus.

Followed by Chanting and Patriotic Song by monks and admirers of Ramakrishna Math and Mission. Swami Suparnanandaji spoke on the topic “Swami Vivekananda and his message to modern youth” followed by speech in Bengali, Hindi and English by devotees, followers and monks of the order, following all covid guidelines.

Shri Shakti Prasad Mishra, a National Awardee teacher associated with Ramakrishna Mission spoke on the topic “National Youth Day and Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” in Hindi followed by chants and songs by admirers of the centre. The morning program concluded with National Anthem.

Followed by day long cultural program on YouTube Channel of Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Golpark which continued till 7pm in order to avoid crowd inside the campus.
