BSF Rescues 30 Wild Birds from Smugglers in Indo-Bangla Border

Border Security Force under South Bengal Frontier rescued 30 wild birds (cockatoo) from the clutches of smugglers. There was an attempt to smuggle all these wild birds from India to Bangladesh from Border Out Post Tarali, 112 Battalion, North 24 Parganas District area.

The smugglers were trying to cross all these birds by putting them in a plastic sacks, throwing them over the Fencing on the border. But the jawan deployed on the Border, realizing the intentions of the smugglers in time and seized the plastic sacks on the spot before successful smuggling attempt. But the smugglers managed to escape after seeing the BSF jawan. The rescued wild birds are being handed over to the Forest department.

The Public Relations Officer, South Bengal Frontier has expressed happiness over the achievement of 112 Battalion, in which the troops have rescued 30 wild birds from the clutches of smugglers. He stated that this has been possible only because of the alertness displayed by the jawans on duty.
