Durga Puja is the biggest festival of Bengal, as Puja Pandals and organisers are going ahead with their plans with restrictions and precautions. West Bengal Transport Corporation has announced special package for Tram services during the Durga Puja.
The packages ensures, on the Saptami and Nabami day, slowly glide through the city in our special Puja tram that will enthrall you taking to various Pujas.
On the way, go through the various landmarks. You can nibble on the light tiffin you get on board. If getting bored, which is less likely, use the free Wifi we will provide on the special tram.
To ensure the festivity fever is full on, Dhak music would be playing all along the journey. You could grab a newspaper or could click some photos from the big glass windows of the tram.
Speaking about the special package, Ranjanbir Singh Kapoor, MD, WBTC which operates the Tram service in Kolkata said, “A special guide would also help you maneuver around the city on this tram route. We are trying to revive the magic of the city, running since 1873, weaving it with the biggest carnival: The Pujas“.
