Sushant’s untimely death has left the world in despair and so was Susanta Ray. Speaking to News Sense he says that: “I liked Sushant a lot. He is my daughter’s favourite actor too. We loved him the most in the movie Dhoni. It is very unfortunate that he passed away so soon and this statue is my attempt to keep him alive forever. I would be glad to gift the statue to his family if they agrees to take it”.
The sculptor has made a number of wax statues, some of which are exhibited in the Mothers Wax Museum near Ecopark, New Town, Kolkata. Susanta Ray wishes to have a wax museum in Asansol too. He is working on this dream by converting his old house into a wax museum. He already has a few statues there and work on other statues are in progress. The total cost of each statue amounts to approximately six lakh rupees.
