New Town Residents reached out to Household Helps in need

By Bashab Sarkar

The world, as well as India, is passing through a critical phase because of the global effect of the Coronavirus Pandemic, which has forced most of the people to be locked in their homes, though many homeless and less privileged sections of the society are deprived of their basic needs. Thinking of their wellbeing several Housing Societies of New Town join together to reach out to them.

The initiative is collectively undertaken by New Town Forum along with New Town Technocity Police, who reached out to help those who need the most, by organizing funds for food packets comprising of rice, dal, vegetables, and soap. Meanwhile, many flat owners reached out to their household helps and other support staff individually, who are not able to come out because of the lockdown to hand over their monthly salaries.
