The Kolkata based company is engaged in manufacturing of paints. They are already dealing with many different types of chemicals. So when faced with this crisis called Corona, they decided to make some Hand Sanitisers for their own employees. Soon the word spread and they started getting calls from everyone requesting a few bottles.
Fully aware of the enormous shortage and black marketing in the market, they decided to continue production and distribute it free of cost. Recently they distributed 1400 bottles in the factory area in Sodepur. All together they have distributed around 20000 bottles in the last one week, all over Bengal.
Many people and organisations came forward to help them in this endeavor. Talbanda Bodai Industries Association provided them hygienic space free of cost to carry on the production. Members of the Indian Small Scale Paint Association helped them with the formulation and the sourcing of materials. Many vendors agreed to supply raw material at subsidized rates.
The Block Development Officer of the area Anamika Saha Bera came to know about this initiative. She was highly impressed and decided to encourage such deeds, requesting the company to provide training for making hand sanitizers to the local youths, which Manish Goyal the company’s promoter agreed to give training so that they can make it locally.
