A Stakeholder Workshop on the UKIERI-DBT Sponsored Project ‘Opportunities and trade-offs between the SDGs for food, welfare and the environment in deltas’ by Prof. Sugata Hazra, Director, School of Oceanographic Studies, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, organized by Jadavpur University in collaboration with Stockholm University, was held at Sister Nivedita University on 16th January 2020. This project has been acquired by the Department of Biotechnology, under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.
Along with Prof. Sugata Hazra, Director, School of Oceanographic Studies, Jadavpur University, the Co-PIs of the workshop would be Prof. (Dr.) Dhrubajyoti Chattopadhyay, Vice-Chancellor, Sister Nivedita University, Kolkata, Dr. Joydeep Mukherjee, UGC Associate Professor under Faculty Recharge Programme, School of Environmental Studies, Jadavpur University, Dr. Saon Banerjee, Professor & Head Department of Agriculture Meteorology & Physics, and Nodal Officer, Agromet Advisory Service, Directorate of Research, BCKV, Nadia, and Dr. Anamitra Anurag Danda, Senior Advisor, Climate Change Adaptation, WWF-India.
