Guidelines of Photo Contest

1.This a online photo competition and open to all.

2.Photos submitted must be at least 640 pixels on the shorter side, and no more than 2000 pixels on the longer side. Images should be no larger than 5MB. Photos must be in JPEG format.

3.The file name for each image should be clearly labelled with the participant’s name, a caption and where the image was taken. E.g. Rahul Verma_Flag_Delhi1.jpg

4.Photos needs to be submitted to with the subject as “Photo Contest Independence Day 2017”. In the body of the mail mention participant’s mobile number, address & e-mail id.

5.Digital manipulation that distorts the reality of the images will not be allowed. Only basic enhancements such as sharpening, contrast adjustment, or simple cropping will be allowed.

6.Photos must have been taken by the one that enters the competition.

7.Maximum 2 photographs per participant.

8.The photos should not contain any watermarks.

9.Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses.

10.All submitted photos must contain the original EXIF metadata information.

11.Advanced editing used to create illusions, deceptions and/or manipulations, and the adding and removing of significant elements within the frame is prohibited.

12.Photos that portray or otherwise include inappropriate and/or offensive content, including provocative nudity, violence, human rights and/or environmental violation, and/or any other contentsdeemed to be contrary to the law, religious, cultural & moral traditions and practices of India, are strictly prohibited and will be immediately discarded.

13.Winners of the contest will be announced in our website and in our Facebook page and will also be notified via email within 10 days.

14.Certificate and prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

15.Last date of submission – 20th August 2017, 11.59pm (IST)
